Here's how we do it: first, a precise drive analysis system scans the disk surfaces for errors. Defects are mapped around
and effectively "erased." The built-in error-correcting system then "trains" the disk drive to permanently
avoid these defective areas. Your data is stored only on the safe areas of the disk. Capacity is reduced by only an insignificant
amount and the drive works flawlessly once again.

This service is not intended to replace your normal backup procedure.
Should your hard drive go down you would simply swap out that drive, reload your latest backup and your're up and running. Without
the clone handy, you would have to find a replacement drive, install the operating system with drivers, redo your configuration, and
reload all your software before you could reload your last backup. Now consider this, is a copy of your operating system software,
programs, and drivers for your systems hardware readily available? Did you keep any notes on your system configuration?
What about all the updates to your system since you've been using it? This process could take anywhere from 4 hours to two weeks
to complete and most would require some professional help to get this done. Can your business afford to be down for a few hours?

Should I clone all of my systems?
No. In most cases you will only have a primary server or workstation that is most important to your business. That
is the system that you would want to have cloned. If it went down your business would suffer. Consider it an insurance
policy without the recurring monthly payments.

A RAID system is the safest way to protect yourself against a disk failure. But with today's constant threat of viruses,
a RAID system could easily be taken down as well. While a RAID system spreads your operating system over multiple disks in it's
effort to recover from a disk failure, any virus that enters your system could spread throughout your entire disk bank. If this
was to happen to a RAID system, the only way to ensure a clean system would be to rebuild from a master drive that is not infected.
